Former Ichagarh MLA Sadhu Charan Mahto passes away

In the Assembly Elections of 2014, Sadhu Charan Mahto had defeated Savita Mahto of the JMM by a margin of 42,250 votes while in the 2019 Assembly elections Savita Mahto emerged victorious.

As soon news of death spread leaders and party workers of Adityapur, Jamshedpur, Gamharia, Ichagarh started reaching his house.

Jamshedpur MP Vidyut Baran Mahto said that his body will be brought to his ancestral place and the last rites will be performed at Parvati Ghat at Jamshedpur.
