Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 13 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers including five district magistrates, a government spokesperson said here on Friday.
The spokesman said that District Magistrate (DM) Varanasi Kaushal Raj Sharma has been transferred as Divisional Commissioner Prayagraj.
Managing Director of UP State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) Rajendra Pratap Singh has been posted as Commissioner Chitrakoot Dham division, Banda.
Sanjay Kumar, Secretary in the Finance Department, has been transferred as MD UPSRTC.
Commissioner Prayagraj Sanjay Goyal has been shifted to Jhansi in the same capacity.
DM Kushinagar, S Rajalingam, has been posted as DM Varanasi, and DM Unnao Ravindra Kumar I has been posted in his place.
DM Fatehpur Apoorva Dubey has been transferred to Unnao in the same capacity.
DM Balrampur Shruti has been shifted to Fatehpur in the same capacity, whereas Chief Development Officer (CDO) Kanpur Nagar Dr. Mahendra Kumar has been posted as DM Balrampur.
CDO Ambedkar Nagar Sudhir Kumar has been transferred to Kanpur Nagar in the same capacity.
The spokesman said that all these transfers will be effective from July 31 afternoon.
In addition to this, Vice-Chairman of Meerut Development Authority and Regional Food Controller Mridul Chaudhary has been transferred as Project Administrator, Greater Sharda Sahayak Samadesh Area Development Authority, Lucknow.
Additional Commissioner Commercial Tax Sudha Verma has been transferred as Joint State Election Commissioner, State Election Commission, Lucknow.
Joint Magistrate Jaunpur Himanshu Nagpal has been shifted to Kanpur Nagar in the same capacity.
