New Delhi: Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi on Saturday said with the mantra of everyone’s participation and everyone’s responsibility “Congress has made a strong knock for the elections.”
Priyanka Gandhi’s remarks came after she took a series of marathon meetings with party senior leaders and office bearers in Lucknow on Friday, to draw the strategy for the next year State Assembly Polls.
“This time there was a very fruitful discussion due to the participation of senior members, youth, women, and office bearers of the organization in the election of the committee,” she said in a tweet.
In the meeting, the Congress party has decided to carry out ‘Pratigya Yatra’ with the tagline– ‘Hum Vachan Nibhayenge’– across Uttar Pradesh from October.
The Yatra will cover around 12,000 km and the route of the yatra is being finalised.
The Congress party had already conducted training camps in many parts of the state for its leaders and party workers as a part of upcoming poll preparations.
