Hyderabad: A 21-year-old engineering student died falling from her hostel building at Ibrahimpatnam on Saturday night.
Police said the engineering student was identified as Ramya. She hailing from Wanaparthy was studying a second-year engineering course at Sri Datta Engineering College by staying in a hostel. When she was sitting on the railing of the hostel building on the second floor accidentally fell from it and injured her head severely. Immediately shifted her to a nearby local hospital where she died while undergoing treatment.
A case has been registered and an investigation is underway, police added.
