Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Covid-19 caseload rose to 16,920 with the detection of eight new infections in the last 24 hours.
According to the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services, out of the eight new cases, three were reported from Lower Dibang Valley, two from Itanagar Capital Complex, one each from Papum Pare, Tawang and West Kameng. Four patients are symptomatic and another four asymptomatic.
On the other hand, six patients were discharged following recovery from the virus, taking the total number of recoveries to 16,798.
Active cases stood at 66. Death toll at 56.
