Education Minister Rajen visits NB College, schools

Rajen also stressed the need of the college staffs to be more sincere since classes of the students have been affected due to COVID-19 pandemic. He also pointed out the importance of maintaining SOPs in the college.

Imphal: Education Minister S Rajen Singh visited Naorem Birahari College, Khundrakpam and interacted with the college authority and staff, Tuesday. Minister was accompanied by Director, Education(U), Dr Rangitabali Waikhomand other department officials.

Minister Rajen Singh, during the interaction with the teaching and non- teaching staff, explained that the deadlock regarding the appointment/selection principal of the college will be resolved after the enquiry committee submits its report. Minister also assured of doing justice regarding any issue related to the education department.

Rajen also stressed the need of the college staffs to be more sincere since classes of the students have been affected due to COVID-19 pandemic. He also pointed out the importance of maintaining SOPs in the college.

Minister Rajen also visited Khundrakpam Chingkhu, Government, High School and inspected the completed and ongoing structure of the school. He also advised the concerned contractors to complete the construction of boys’ and girls’ toilet of the school maintaining quality control.

He also paid inspectional visit at Praja High School, Lamsang and Lamdeng Govt. High School. Later, Rajen visited Lamlong Higher Secondary School and visited classrooms and checked attendance register of the staffs.
