Imphal: Narcotics and Border Affairs (NAB) on Tuesday nabbed one Tilkholen Haokip from Canchipur, Imphal and seized 50 cases of Heroin Powder weighing about 625 grams.
Police said the drug was hidden in the oil tanker of a four-wheeler. Further, one Mobile Phone, one driving license, and one Aadhaar Card were seized from his possession.
A case was registered with NAB PS for investigation. Preliminary investigation revealed that the contraband items were collected from his associate in Myanmar to be delivered at Senapati. Further investigation was going on.Â
