Senapati: The District Election Officer, Senapati Mahesh Chaudhari, called a meeting Monday with all the nodal officers of the district in view of the forthcoming election of 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly 2022 at DC, Conference Hall.
DEO, Senapati Mahesh Chaudhari, who chaired the meeting, said that everyone must take election duty seriously as it plays an important role in the country.
During the meeting, various discussions relating to election activities on electoral roll, EVM, law & order, training, postal ballet, vehicle management, IT & communication, expenditure, excise, media, MCC, SVEEP, material management, welfare of polling personnel, complaints/ C- Vigil/ manpower, observers, social media and health were minutely discussed The nodal officers also shared their past experiences.
The DEO, Senapati said that meeting would be also held two or three times in a month for the smooth conduct of election. He also appealed the Nodal Officers not to skip the meeting relating to election matter.
