Imphal: Manipur reported two Covid related deaths, 41 positive cases (40 general population 1 CAPF) and 84 recoveries in the last 24 hours leading up to 2 pm of Monday, as per an official release from the health department.
Of the two who expired Monday, one of them was from Imphal West while the other was from Imphal West. The cumulative death toll in the state now stands at 1,913. One of the expired has co-morbidities; one of them had been vaccinated with 1st dose while the other one was not vaccinated at all.
Of the 40 persons who tested positive from the general population, 21 of them are from Imphal West, 12 from Imphal East, two from Thoubal and Ukhrul and one each from Kamjong, Churachandpur and Bishnupur.
Altogether, 1,280 persons were tested for a positivity rate of 3.2 %.
Meanwhile, 84 persons recovered and were discharged, 14 of them are from home isolation, 50 from CCCs and 13 from JNIMS and seven from RIMS. The recovery rate in the state now stands at 97.73 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 1, 23,333 out of which 1,20,534 have recovered leaving 886 active cases.
The total number of doses administered on October 24, 2021, is 2,359 the cumulative number of doses administered is 18,89,761 (1st dose 12,41,752, 2nd dose 6,48,009).
