Churachandpur: District Electoral Officer/DC Churachandpur Pawan Yadav reviewed the District’s preparedness for the upcoming State Assembly elections at the Mini-Secretariat Conference hall here Tuesday afternoon.
Nodal officers assigned for various assignments briefed the progress in their respective fields of works and presented their plans.
The DEO took stock of management of manpower and observers, expenditure monitoring, activities of flying squads, maintenance of law and order, vulnerability mapping, installation of helpline & complaint redressal, EVMs management, transport management, training of polling personnel and media certification & monitoring activities, etc.
Yadav urged the District Nodal Officers to ensure smooth execution of works assigned to them and leave nothing to chance so as to ensure the successful conduct of the upcoming Assembly Election in the district.
Amongst others, the review meeting was attended by SP Churachandpur Shivanand Surve; Project Director DRDA ST Gangte; ADC Yumnam Nelson; CEO ADCC Lalthazam apart from District Nodal Officers.
