Imphal: Friday saw substantial improvement in the Govid situation in Manipur, as the state for the fourth consecutive day did not report any Covid related death and the positivity rate dropped below 1 % at .9% as only 10 persons tested positive out of a total of 1,089.
During the same period, one person recovered and was discharged, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the 10 persons from the general population who tested positive, five of them are from Imphal West, four from Imphal East and one Churachandpur.
The lone person who recovered and was discharged was from CCC. The recovery rate in Manipur now stands at 98.25 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 25,788 out of which 1,23,587 have recovered, leaving 199 active cases.
The total number of doses administered on December 30, 2021, is 3,723, the cumulative number of doses administered is 23,14,302 (1st dose 13,24,528, 2nd dose 9,89,548).
