Covid: Manipur logs 91 positive cases, 88 recoveries Tuesday

Of the 88 persons who recovered, 68 are from home isolation, eight each from JNIMS and RIMS and four from SHRI. The recovery rate of the state as of Friday stands at 98.03%.

Imphal: Manipur reported 91 positive cases from the general population, zero Covid related death and 88 recoveries in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Tuesday, as per an official release from the Health Department. 

Of the 91 persons who tested positive, 39 are from Imphal West, 13 from Imphal West, 12 from Bishnupur, seven each from Churachandpur, six from Senapati, five from Kakching two each from Chandel, Thoubal and Ukhrul and one each from Kangpokpi, Tamenglong and Tengnoupal. Altogether, 1,013 persons were tested. The positive rate4 now stands at 11.6%.

The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 38, 722 out of which 1, 35, 988 have recovered leaving 608 active cases in the state.

As on July 25, 2022, 200  D-type oxygen cylinders and 21 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available at different health facilities in Manipur.

The status of Covid Hospital facilities in the state as on July 26, 2022 are as follows: JNIMS has a total of 38 beds out of which 24 are occupied and 14 are vacant. RIMS has a total of 62 beds out of which 42 are occupied and 20 are vacant. 

 The total number of doses administered on July 25, 7,586, the cumulative number of doses administered is 30,73,060(1st dose 16,09,613, 2nd dose 12,81,259) and precautionary dose is 1,82,188.
