Imphal: Manipur for the second day reported a 22 more positive cases among the general population in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Thursday.
During the same period, there was no report of any Covid-related deaths while four persons recovered, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the 22 persons who tested positive, nine are from Imphal West, five from Imphal East, three from Kakching, two each from Churachandpur and Thoubal and one from Ukhrul. Altogether, 295 persons were tested, amounting to a positivity rate of 7.5 %.
All the four persons who recovered and were discharged are from home isolation. The recovery rate of the state as of Tuesday stands at 98.39 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 37, 367 out of which 1, 35, 150 have recovered leaving 97 active cases in the state.
The total number of doses administered on July 6, is 3,501, the cumulative number of doses administered is 29,75,875 (1st dose 15,96,528, 2nd dose 12,63,083) and precautionary dose is 1,16,264.
