Imphal: Corporate Leaders’ Conclave 4.0 under the theme Reignite, Reinvent and Rise was held on Wednesday at Sangai Hall, Hotel Imphal by the Classic. The function was organised by Management Department, Manipur Technical University (MTU) Imphal.
Addressing the function, Chief Guest Dr. Thangjam Dhabali Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of The Babina Group of Companies, said the COVID-19 pandemic severely affected the business and industrial sectors in our State.
However, when the pandemic waned and with the support from the then State Government, various foreign visitors and tourists started visiting our State thus rejuvenating the growth of industrial and business activities turning into tourist hub, he added.
Dr. Dabali further highlighted that various international event like Miss Femina Contest, G20 Submit and Durand Cup etc. were organised by the State Government attracting interested foreign firms, investors, entrepreneurs besides normal tourists leading to a bloom in Tourism sectors and others as well. Stating that due to the prevailing situation in the State, the progresses had suddenly came to a halt, he said, today’s Conclave will surely encourage and pull in many dynamic and energetic young entrepreneurs of the state.
The Conclave was also attended by Dr. Kh. Ratankumar Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, Mother’s Care Children Hospital & Research Centre, Imphal Heart Institute; Ramananda Nongmeikapam (MCS), Registrar Manipur Technical University as Guest of Honour and President respectively. Officials and students of MTU, entrepreneurs, were also present at the function among others.
Technical and an interactive session was also held as a part of the conclave with resource persons sharing knowledge on various aspects of becoming successful entrepreneurs in their future endeavours.
