Coronavirus cases drop in Nagaland

The recovery rate now stands at 91.46 percent in the Northeastern states, the bulletin said.

Kohima: Nagaland saw a dip in Covid19 infection, as the state recorded 130 new cases, increasing its overall Coronavirus count to 33,948, a health bulletin said on Thursday.

The state had logged 164 new cases a day back. With no reports of any more death related to the pandemic in the last 24 hours, the number of fatalities remained at 708.

According to the bulletin, 96 cases were reported in Dimapur, 18 cases in Kohima, 10 in Mokokchung, three in Kiphire and one in Longleng, one in Mon and one in Wokha districts.

Altogether 62 people got cured of the disease during the same period, pushing up the overall number of recoveries to 31,049.

The recovery rate now stands at 91.46 percent in the Northeastern states, the bulletin said.
