Guwahati: Assam’s Congress unit has asked Shiv Sena rebel leader Eknath Shinde and other MLAs from Maharashtra to leave the state immediately.
Bhupen Kumar Bora, President of the Pradesh Congress Committee, wrote a letter to Shinde, who is camping in Assam with his rebel supporters, saying his presence in Guwahati was creating “an unhealthy atmosphere”.
