Aizawl: Chief Minister Zoramthanga chaired a meeting of the Aviation Committee on March 31 at the CMO meeting room where important issues pertaining to the development and renovation of the state’s sole airport were discussed.
Agendas include renewal of airport license, service tariff, enhancement of staffs under Aviation Wing, and proposal for Concept Master Plan for upgradation to an international Airport.
It was mentioned that there’s a considerable increase in number of air passengers post lifting COVID-19 flight restriction.
