CM instructs to adopt Bihar up-gradation model in Madrasas

Retreating his commitment to the development and overall Welfare of the minority community Kumar asked to regularly monitor the progress of the schemes introduced for the class.

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday asked the authorities to adopt up-gradation Bihar model in Madrasas for proper development and to keep the students studying in Madrasas aware of the latest information.

While reviewing the progress of the schemes introduced for the Welfare of minorities Kumar said here today that the model would help the students studying in Madrasas in their overall progress and prosperity.
He also asked the concerned authorities to provide loans to the maximum number of beneficiaries under the chief minister minority employment loan scheme launched on the pattern of chief minister entrepreneurship scheme.

He said that such steps would inspire minorities and improve the employment scenario in the community. He also expressed the need for imparting employment-generating training to the girls and womenfolk of minority communities for their economic progress.

Apart from this, he asked to provide free coaching to the students of this community preparing for competitions under the state coaching scheme.

The Chief Minister directed the concerned authorities to ensure the supply of food grain at the rate of 15 kg per month for every student of minority community residing in the hostels.

Reviewing other projects Kumar was instructed to complete the construction of the historical Anjuman Islamia hall by February 2022. He also asked to complete the construction of multipurpose buildings of waqf boards across the state for the convenience of the people.

The Minority Welfare secretary Dr Safina A N, through a PowerPoint Presentation, apprised the Chief Minister about the latest situation of the schemes introduced for the Welfare of the minorities in the state.
