Imphal: Chief Minister N Biren Singh Thursday handed over laptops to officers of the state government at a function held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. Laptops are being distributed to officers below the level of Secretary for e-office rollout in Manipur Secretariat.
Appreciating the senior officials of the state government on the successful commencement of e-office, the Chief Minister stated that the rollout of e-office would speed up the movement of files and help in maintaining transparency. This would also make tracking of files easier, he added.
Stating that there are many many talented and skillful human resources in the state, Biren said that Manipur can achieve success in any field with the co-ordination and support of government officials.
GAD Minister Vungzagin Valte, Chief Secretary Dr. Rajesh Kumar and Principal Secretary V Vumlunmang also attended the function among others.
