Imphal: Chief Minister of Manipur, N Biren Singh greeted the people of the State on the occasion of May Day which falls on May 1 every year.
In his message, Bren Singh said that “May Day commemorates the historic struggles and gains made by workers and the labour movement in different countries. It is the day to all the labours who did their best in their work and struggled in the past when our country was ruled by the Britishers”.
On this occasion CM Biren called on all “ to commit ourselves to approach the future with optimism, working towards benefit for ourselves, our families, our society, our economy, and our nation”.
