CIDCO develops 2 state-of-art COVID centres; wins praises from CM Uddhav

Thane: In a major boost to health infrastructure, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray on Friday dedicated two COVID Health Centres developed by the CIDCO in record time.

The Shiv Sena chief also inaugurated the ‘CIDCO Investment and Infrastructure Summit’ aimed to attract and educate the investors about the investment opportunities in Navi Mumbai.

The CM virtually attended the event which witnessed the opening of 635-bedded COVID Health Centre in Kalamboli of Navi Mumbai and a 1,738-bedded facility in Kanjurmarg of Mumbai.

Following the government’s orders, the Navi Mumbai health centre has been developed at the godown of Cotton Corporation of India while another facility was built at Crompton Greaves Factory in Kanjurmarg.
Lauding the works of CIDCO, the CM remarked, “CIDCO has done commendable work till date in facilitating the comprehensive development of Navi Mumbai.” He congratulated the team of CIDCO for completing the COVID Health Centers project in such a short time frame.

The CM expressed, “I am confident that programs like the Investment and Infrastructure Summit will attract citizens and investors towards the city and take the development of the city in the right direction.”

Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat said, “The health centres at Kalamboli and Kanjurmarg developed by CIDCO are proof that we are always ready to fight the COVID war with all our might. With the help of programs like the Investment and Infrastructure summit, the benefits of the development of Navi Mumbai will reach every common man.”
