Churachandpur: Rozgar Diwas (Skill and Employment workshop) was organised by the Churachandpur district administration today at DTC Hall, Tuibong, as part of the ongoing celebration of four years of government.
About 70 people drawn from students and village chiefs attended the programme. In his speech, Deputy Commissioner Pawan Yadav said the district has achieved many things in the generation of employment during the last four years. He said there is no dearth of skill and talents in the district and agencies such as SBI-RSETI and NHIDCL have taken up many activities to hone the skills of the local youth. He wished the district march ahead in this front.
The resource person of the programme Gracy Lamkholhing, Faculty, SBI-RSETI spoke on entrepreneurship. Among other dignitaries present in the function included Thangboi Gangte, Additional DC, Churachandpur.
A video of the achievement of the Government in the last four years was also screened on the occasion.
Similar programs were also held at different villages of the district at the Subdivision and Village levels
