Imphal:Education Minister Shri S. Rajen Singh has said that children are the assets of their families. Parents and guardians will feel secured and happy when their children achieve their feat, he added.
Minister Rajen Singh was speaking as Chief Guest at the Inaugural
function of Yumnam Huidrom Hr. Secondary under School Fagathansi Mission today. He said that the government with the initiative of School Fagathansi Mission has improved the education system in the state. Number of school dropout students has been tremendously decreased, he informed.
He informed that government is well prepared for the successful
implementation of National Education Policy, NEP in the state. It was launched in the year 2020 by the prime minister of India with the objective to improve education system of the country. Every one of us should also cooperate with such initiatives, he added.
Minister maintained that there has been development in many spheres
during the regime of the present government. Manipur is a poor state. Maximum parents in the state can not afford for their children for getting education in private schools. Now the students need not to go to private schools since the government schools have been improved a lot, he informed.
Shri Rajen advised that school teachers need focus on the teaching and
training of the students with sincerity and dedication. He also warned that employees of government schools and colleges should stop taking interest in transfer and posting.
Speaking as president, Minister, Agri/Vety/Tourism, Shri O. Lukhoi
Singh said that during the period of BJP led government there have been transformations in many fields. Wangoi Assembly Constituency has also been transformed to a good shape.
