Imphal: The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Manipur is all set to observe the 12th National Voters’ Day 2022 on 25th January, 2022 at City Convention Centre, Palace Compound, Imphal from 10:00 AM onwards. The Day will be celebrated under the theme ‘Making Elections Inclusive, Accessible, and Participative’.
Chief Secretary, Manipur Dr. Rajesh Kumar will grace the occasion as Chief Guest while Director General of Police, Manipur P. Doungel, Additional Chief Secretaries, Government of Manipur M.H. Khan, Letkhogin Haokip, Paulunthang Vaiphei and Vumlunmang Vualnam will be the Guests of Honour of the programme.
As a part of the celebration, a photo exhibition on SVEEP Campaign will also be opened by the Chief Guest. Administering of National Voters’ Day Pledge, presentation of newly enrolled voters with badges and EPIC, felicitation of SVEEP State Icons, launching of video on Ethical Voting, PwD & Video screening on SVEEP Campaigns and distribution of various awards will be the main highlights of the event.
