Centre will realise vision of self-reliant India: Sadhvi

Dharamshala: Union State for Food Supply, Public Distribution System, and Rural Development Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti said the Modi government at the Centre will fulfill the vision of a self-reliant India.


During the last eight years, the Centre has started many programs and welfare schemes, which have improved the living conditions of the poor and deserving people. She said that under various schemes, funds are being transferred directly to the beneficiaries in their accounts.


Union State Food Supply, Public Distribution System and Rural Development Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti as the chief guest in the beneficiary dialogue program in the auditorium of the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Dharamsala on Saturday said that effective steps to take the benefits of central and state government schemes to the last person of the society. are being picked up.


She said the schemes launched by both the Centre and the State have brought changes in the housing, availability of drinking water, food, health and nutrition, livelihood, and financial inclusion of the people.


In the last eight years, there has been a doubling of the pace of development, even in adverse circumstances like the Novel Coronavirus epidemic, from vaccines to ration were made available for the protection of common people, along with this, the poor people were moved in the direction of employment.


She said that taking care of the social concerns, the Central Government has also started the PM Fund for Children, in which help has been provided for the education of children orphaned during the Covid-19 period.


She said the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (rural and urban), Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Poshan Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Matri Vandana Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission (rural and urban), Jal Jeevan Mission and Amrit, Pradhan Mantri Svanidhi Yojana, one Nation One Ration Card, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana, Ayushman Bharat PM Jan Arogya Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Center and Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana are proving to be very effective for the common man.


On this occasion, the Union Minister also established a dialogue with the beneficiaries and also took feedback about the schemes. Earlier, while welcoming the chief guest, Deputy Commissioner Nipun Jindal gave detailed information about the achievements made under various welfare schemes being run in Kangra district.


On this occasion, Director Food Supplies and Public Distribution Government of India RK Meena, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India Yashpal, Shri Saurabh Agarwal, Additional Private Secretary, ADC Gandharwa Rathod, Co-Director of Rural Development Department, Robin, and officers of various departments were present.
Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti paid obeisance in Brajeshwari and Baglamukhi temples. She also interacted with the beneficiaries in Dharamshala.
