Churachandpur: The three-day training Programme for Enumerators and Supervisors (4th Batch) in connection with the upcoming Census 2027, Phase-1 House Listing Operation (HLO) for Churachandpur Charge concluded today at Training Hall, SDO Office, Churachandpur. The programme was held under the supervision of Deputy Commissione-cum- Principal Census Officer, Krishna Kumar, IAS, Churachandpur.
During the training, Field Trainers Lianminthang Samte, SDC, (HQ), Satkhogin Kilong, SDC (HQ) and Smt. Janice T. Jingsol, Assistant Professor, Department of English, Churachandpur College (Autonomous) attended as field trainers and imparted training on various aspects of Digital Census, use of digital tools, role and responsibilities of field functionaries and structure of census implementation along with concepts and definitions related to Census House Listing Operation.
The field trainers also imparted hands-on training on HLO Mobile Application for data collection and submission, besides explaining the process for preparation of District Census Handbook including demonstration of DCHB App and Web Portal to the trainees.
The programme aimed at equipping Enumerators and supervisors with necessary skills and guidelines for accurate and efficient data collection during the door – to- door Census exercise.
It was informed that House Listing and Housing Census will commence from 1st September, while Population Enumeration Phase-II will begin from February, 2027.
The training was conducted in four batches from August 12 onwards, with three days allocated for each batch. Throughout the programme, a total of 197 participants including 169 enumerators and 28 supervisors, comprising teachers from Government Primary, Upper Primary Schools and Colleges, actively participated.
