Imphal: A team of NAB Police, along with Thoubal District Police, busted one clandestine brown sugar kitchen laboratory at Thoubal Moijing Khongkok in Thoubal district on Monday.
A person, in this regard, has been arrested namely Mohammed Daulat Khan (22 years), son of late Md. Allauddin, a resident of Thoubal Moijing Awang Leikai, Thoubal District, Manipur.
Three drum buckets, one of which contained approximately 50 litres of morphinated solution, one gas frame, one gas cylinder, one wooden plank, which are used in setting up a brown sugar kitchen laboratory were seized from his possession.
Further, one mobile phone handset and two AADHAAR cards were seized at his instance and on his production. A case has been registered in this regard at NAB Police Station for further investigation, as per a press note issued by the PRO, Manipur Police.
