Chennai:The Bhagwan Mahaveer Foundation (BMF) has
invited nominations for the 27th Mahaveer awards.
The annual awards, to be presented in four categories, consists of a
cash component of Rs 10 lakh, a citation and a memento.
BMF Founder Trustee N.Sugalchand Jain, in a release here today said,
the Mahaveer awards for Excellence in Human Endeavour in community
service will be in Propogation of non-violence and Vegetarianism,
Education, Medicine and Community and Social Service.
BMF Managing Trustee said the last date for sending the nominations
is July 31 and the application form could be downloarded from the BMF
website.
