Imphal: Assam Rifles organized a pivotal Security Coordination Meeting at Tactical Headquarters, Moreh, Tengnoupal District on Monday.
The meeting, attended by Officers of BSF, IRB, Manipur Police, SSP, SP Tengnoupal, RAF, and Assam Rifles, showcased a unified effort to enhance communication and coordination among security forces.
This collaborative initiative aimed at addressing current security challenges effectively, with insights and strategies exchanged to foster a synchronized approach to maintaining peace and stability in the region.
Assam Rifles, reaffirming its commitment to safeguarding communities, highlighted the importance of such coordination meetings in ensuring a coordinated response to emerging security concerns.
Meanwhile, acting on specific intelligence about the presence of weapons in the general area of S Moljol & Munpi villages in Moreh, a combing operation was conducted by the Army and Assam Rifles on Monday which resulted in the recovery of six improvised explosive devices, ammunition & war like stores.
The recovered items have been handed over to Police, said a press note from the PRO, IGAR(S).
