Kakching: Demonstrating a steadfast commitment to preventive healthcare and community welfare, the Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) facilitated an HPV Vaccination Drive at Assam Rifles Public School located within the Pallel Garrison in Kakching District on 07 September 2026. The vital healthcare initiative was organised by the school in active collaboration with the District Family Welfare Office of Kakching and the Primary Health Centre of Pallel.

The well-coordinated programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from children, parents and school representatives, ensuring the successful vaccination of 50 children. Healthcare personnel utilised the platform to sensitise attendees on the significance of immunisation, preventive health practices and the importance of seeking timely medical guidance for the younger generation. The collaborative endeavor highlighted the power of effective civil-military coordination in delivering essential healthcare services to the grassroots level.
