Guwahati: BJP National President JP Nadda today said that the Congress always indulged in opportunism and vote bank politics.
Addressing back to back election rallies in poll-bound Assam, Nadda who will unveil the BJPs poll manifesto tomorrow said that Congress has two teeth like tusker, one to show off and one to chew and if the party is voted back to power darkness will descend in Assam.
Nadda said that the BJP has always been at the forefront to protect and serve the people of Assam.
He also said that Congress is with the Muslim League and fighting against the CPI(M) in Kerala, but they have joined hands with them in West Bengal and Assam.
“If you need darkness, then go with the Congress. But if you need development, hold the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Nadda said at the rally.
Assam goes to polls in three phases on March 27, April 1 and April 6 to elect 126 legislative members. The results of the polls will be declared on May 2.
