Arunachal reports 311 new Covid cases; four succumb

According to the bulletin, of the four casualties reported, two were from Namsai, one each from Itanagar Capital Complex and Changlang.

Itanagar: As many as 311 people tested positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s infection tally to 36,168, while the death toll rose to 176 as four more succumbed to the virus.

Out of the new positive cases, Itanagar Capital Complex reported the highest at 80, followed by Upper Subansiri 30 and West Kameng 27, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services.

Barring 143, all the patients are symptomatic.

According to the bulletin, of the four casualties reported, two were from Namsai, one each from Itanagar Capital Complex and Changlang.

On the other hand, 286 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries to 33,209.

Active cases tally stands at 2,783.
