Arunachal govt committed towards ‘Minimum Govt – Maximum Governance’: Khandu

The CM made the statement in his message on the occasion of 'Good Governance Week', the 5-day "Prashasan Gaon ki Ore campaign" of the Centre , starting from Monday, as per the statement issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions here.

New Delhi: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Monday reiterated that his government is committed towards the mantra of ‘Minimum Government, Maximum Governance’ and it has taken up governance reforms in mission Mode to bring in both effectiveness and efficiency.

The CM made the statement in his message on the occasion of ‘Good Governance Week’, the 5-day “Prashasan Gaon ki Ore campaign” of the Centre , starting from Monday, as per the statement issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions here.

Khandu also informed that the ‘Government at your doorstep’ programme has been revamped as ‘Seva Aapke Dwar’ in October 2022 to ensure saturation of Government flagship schemes for the potential beneficiaries.

He said many training programmes will be organised during this week to sensitise the government machinery and foster good governance.

The state portal for grievance redressal will be launched soon, which will minimise the visits of citizens to government offices, he added.

“My government will not leave any stone unturned for facilitating service delivery of all kinds 24×7, ” Khandu said.

A total of 3,120 new services identified by District Collectors across the country will be added for online service delivery during the 5-day campaign to be inaugurated by Union Minister for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Jitendra Singh at Vigyan Bhawan here, the Ministry said.

During the Preparatory Phase of the Good Governance Week 2022 held from December 10-18, 2022, District Collectors have also identified 81,27,944 applications for Service Delivery to be disposed, along with 19,48,122 Public Grievances to be redressed in State Grievance Portals.

Moreover, 3,120 New Services identified by District Collectors across the country will be added for online service delivery.
