Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh’s Covid-19 case tally has mounted to 54,958 as four more persons have been tested positive for the virus in past 24 hours, a senior health official said on Friday.
The official said, of the four new cases recorded, two cases each were reported from Itanagar Capital Complex and West Kameng.
Meanwhile, 26 people have been discharged in past 24 hours. The total number of recoveries stands at 54,476.
The state’s Covid-19 recovery rate has improved to 99.12 percent, while the positivity rate now stands at 0.37 percent and the death rate 0.51 percent, the official said.
