Arunachal continues to witness spike in Covid-19 cases, tally mounts to 18,419

The recovery rate is over 93 per cent. Active cases stood at 1226. Fifty-nine fatalities recorded so far.

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh continued to witness a spike in Covid-19 cases with the detection of 163 fresh infections in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s caseload to 18,419.

On the other hand, 49 patients were discharged, taking the total recoveries to 17,134. The recovery rate is over 93 per cent. Active cases stood at 1226. Fifty-nine fatalities recorded so far.

As per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services (DHS), out of the new Covid-19 cases, the highest was reported from Itanagar Capital Complex at 47, followed by Lower Dibang Valley 28 and Changlang 14.

Barring 59, all the patients are asymptomatic.
