Imphal: In continuation of its commitment towards community outreach and national awareness, Red Shield Division under agies of Indian Army’s Spear Corps commemorated the first anniversary of Op Sindoor by conducting an outreach event at Corner Stone Mission School,Kangpokpi on 05 May 2026. The initiative aimed at sensitising students about the Indian Army’s unwavering resolve against terrorism and its steadfast commitment to safeguarding the sovereignty and integrity of the nation.
The programme commenced with an interactive session wherein the Indian Army revisited the objectives of Op Sindoor. A presentation on the operation was screened and students were apprised of the key events underpinning it, fostering awareness and instilling a sense of pride among the young minds.
A series of awareness activities and interactive engagements were conducted to actively involve the students. They were also sensitised about Information Warfare and their role as responsible information warriors in protecting national interests. The students displayed enthusiasm, curiosity and active participation throughout the session, reflecting the positive impact of the initiative.
The event conducted in its true spirit, reinforced a sense of responsibility and motivation among the students. It further strengthened Army community relations and reaffirmed the Indian Army’s enduring commitment towards peace, harmony and inclusive development in the region.
