AP reports 32 fresh COVID-19 cases

The state has 408 active COVID-19 cases at the moment with 335 of the positive patients recuperating under home isolation.

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh recorded 32 new COVID-19 cases during the past 24 hours that swelled the state’s tally of confirmed cases to 54,725, a senior Health Department official said.

On the other hand, 29 COVID patients were cured of the infection in the period that increased the total number of recovered cases to 54,040. With no fresh casualties being reported in the period, the state’s death toll remains unaltered at 277, the official said.

Of the new detections, West Kameng accounted for the highest 16 cases, followed by Pakke-Kessang 10 and Itanagar Capital Complex three. Twenty of the total cases were found to be asymptomatic and 12 symptomatic.

Arunachal Pradesh had tested just 969 samples for COVID-19 during the last 24 hours that took the state’s cumulative figure to 11,49,822.
