Active cases in Manipur down to 94 Thursday

Of the 16 persons from the general population who tested positive, five are from Imphal West, four from Imphal East, two from Kakching, each from Thoubal, Kangpokpi, Noney, Ukhrul and Churachandpur.

Imphal: Manipur did not report any Covid related death in the last 24 hours leading up to 2 pm of Thursday. During the same period, the state logged 16 new positive cases while 18 persons recovered and were discharged, as per an official release from the Health Department.

Of the 16 persons from the general population who tested positive, five are from Imphal West, four from Imphal East, two from Kakching, each from Thoubal, Kangpokpi, Noney, Ukhrul and Churachandpur.

A total of 1,173 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 1.4 % 

Meanwhile, 18 persons recovered and were discharged, 13 of them from home isolation, three from CCCs and one each from RIMS and JNIMS. 

The recovery rate of the state stands at 98.39 %.
