Shimla:A major fire broke out in a Kutcha house at Khalantu Bamnol village under Sub Division Chopal in in the district on Sunday night, state diaster Management authority confirmed.
In a press release issued here today SDMA said that fire broke out in a Katcha house belonging to Balak Ram. House completely reduced to ashes. The fire broke out at 7 pm on Sunday, it was later brought under control by the local people. No loss of life was reported in the incident which caused an estimated loss of Rs 7.20 lakh to property.
Instant Relief of Rs 10,000 was given to the victim’s family.
