Guwahati: In view of the surge in Covid19 cases, authorities of the iconic Kamakhya Temple have decided to close down the temple for the next 15 days.

The decision has been taken following the directive issued by the Assam government.

“This is to inform the people of Kamakhya and all the pilgrims that keeping in view of the Covid19 spread in the country, the government has issued an order directing all religious places to be closed with effect from May 13.
