Imphal: Planning Department, Government of Manipur, participated in the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan organised by District Administration, Imphal West, at Khuyathong Community Hall on 22nd September, 2026. The Abhiyan was also attended by Khumukcham Joykishan, Hon’ble MLA of Thangmeiband Assembly Constituency, who interacted with the participants and took part in the activities of the Abhiyan.
According to a report by the Planning Department, the Department set up a dedicated service desk to provide information and assistance to the public regarding the Manipur StartUp Scheme, particularly the opportunities available to aspiring entrepreneurs and existing business enterprises as part of the programme
Officials of the Department interacted with the participants and provided information on the objectives, eligibility criteria, application process, financial assistance and other benefits available under the scheme. Queries relating to subsidy, bank-linked credit facilities, Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) and other support mechanisms were addressed and necessary guidance was provided to prospective entrepreneurs.
The participation of Planning Department helped bring information on Government support for entrepreneurship closer to the public and contributed to greater awareness of Manipur StartUp Scheme, particularly among aspiring entrepreneurs seeking opportunities for self-employment and enterprise development.
