Imphal: On the auspicious occasion of Ningol Chakouba, the Indian Army reached out to the Lamlai relief camp, Imphal East district of Manipur, to spread warmth and support to the families in need.
In line with the festival’s spirit, the Army distributed essential materials to over 70 women, that will help them to ease their daily challenges. Traditional sweets were also shared, adding a touch of festive cheer and fostering a sense of togetherness.
Ningol Chakouba celebrates family and togetherness among the Meitei community. The event was attended by Ibomcha, MLA from the Lamlai Constituency, that added warmth to the event, making it an uplifting experience for the families, who were delighted to receive the sweets and supplies.
This initiative reflects the commitment of the Indian Army to support society and stand with those in need. The experience underscored the importance of extending care and solidarity to those facing challenging circumstances.
