Imphal: The 19th ‘Sachipu Inaat Ngaikhang Kummei 2024’ organized by Ima Leishem Inaat Loishang began on Wednesday, at Panthou Eeshaikonung, Nongpok Chingu Thong, Meitei Laikol, Thalo Sipi Lok, Selloi Lamaiching, Imphal West and will go till May 3, 2024.
During the ten-day festival, various programmes will be held starting from 9 am in the morning till evening everyday.
On the last day of the festival, the organizer, Ima Leishem Inaat Loishang will honour two Shumang Kumhei artists, Oinam Arun and Langthabal Robindro both of whom excelled in playing many memorable female roles.
The organisers will also honour the contribution of Meitei Pung maestro, Asem Binoy on this day.
