Phagwara: A depressed woman and her two children jumped before Train No. 12030 DN Amritsar-New Delhi Shatabadi Express and ended their lives on Monday late in the evening.
GRP Incharge Gurbhej Singh said the deceased were identified as Parveen Kumari (30) of village Bharsinghpura PS Phillaur, her daughter Sumanpreet Kaur (10), and her son Navneet Kumar (5).
GRP has sent the bodies to a local civil hospital for a post-mortem. He said no such suicide note could be found. The family members have been informed.
The cause of suicide is yet not known.
Husband of the deceased woman, Ravi Kumar was abroad.
