President Droupadi Murmu to visit Assam on April 6: Sarma

Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced that President Droupadi Murmu will be visiting the state for two days, starting from April 6.

The CM has reviewed the preparations for the President’s visit and tweeted about it, expressing the state’s excitement to host her.

As per an official, during her visit, the President is expected to attend the two-day ‘Gaj Utsav-2023’ at Kaziranga National Park, where she may also go on jeep and elephant safaris.
