Bhubaneswar: The Kanpur irrigation project in Keonjhar district will be completed by June, 2023, Odisha Chief Secretary S C Mohapatra said On Saturday.
After reviewing the progress of various developmental projects, he said the project’s dam water would be stored during this rainy season and it would be utilised for irrigation.
The project on completion would provide water for irrigation to 2200 hectares of farmland.
The Chief Secretary also directed the officials to complete the construction of the fly-over by October end and the construction of Anandapur barrage by the year end.
