No entry in Taj Mahal without Covid test

Agra (UP): In the wake of the rising cases of new variants of corona virus, Covid test has been made mandatory for all the tourists, including foreign and tourist, an official spokesman said here on Thursday.

District Information Officer Anil Satsangi said testing has been made mandatory for all the tourists. He said earlier testing was mandatory for foreign tourists, but in the wake of rising cases of corona every person entering Taj will be required to bring the certificate of being Covid tested.

He said the health department will maintain a vigil on tourists coming and people returning from China, Japan, Brazil and the US. He said those having flu-like symptoms will be tested.

Satsangi said hotel operators have also been warned. He said people suffering from cold, cough and fever are being advised to wear masks.
