Imphal: Manipur Assembly Speaker, Th Satyabrata and Health Minister Dr S Ranjan stated that the government will improve health services in the state.
Speaking during the opening of a new health Care Centre at Hiyang Hiren Leirak, Palace Compound, here on Wednesday Th. Satyabrata said that serving the people is like serving God.
The government has been doing commendable services, particularly in the health sector, he said. Developing the health sector will help to bring a welfare state, he added.
Health & IPR Minister S Dr S. Ranjan Singh said that the primary health care system needs to be focused on and improved. Without strengthening primary health care other healthcare systems can’t be improved.
The government is trying to improve the overall healthcare system in the state, he added.
He said the government has launched many health care schemes at the state and central level like TB Mukt Bharat, PMJAY, Ayushman Bharat Abhiyan, Chief Minister’s Hakshel for All, CMHA etc.
The government is also working to cover extensive health facilities, he informed.
