Manipur: Winners of CM’s Police medal for Gallantry announced

The Government announced the names of the police personnel who were awarded the Chief Minister’s Medal for Gallantry and Chief Minister’s Medal for Outstanding devotion to Duty.

Imphal: On the occasion of Patriots’ Day, 13th August 2022, the Government of Manipur, in a notification issued by the Deputy Secretary (home) has announced the names of the police personnel who were awarded the Chief Minister’s Medal for Gallantry and Chief Minister’s Medal for Outstanding devotion to Duty.

The Chief Minister’s Medal for Gallantry has been awarded to the following police personnel: A Krishna Sharma, ASI, Jiribam; Dabar Chongtham, Havildar, 2nd MR attached to CID€9tech); Md Islamuddin, Havildar, 2nd IRB attached to Bishnupur commando unit; Golmei Dorcas, W/SI, Imphal West attached to NAB; S Jeshwanta Singh, Jemadar, JC, 7th IRB attached to Imphal West commando unit; T. Ibomcha, Jemadar, MPTC attached to Imphal West commando unit.

The Chief Minister’s Police Medal for outstanding devotion to Duty was awarded to the following police personnel:  A Akha, H/C , Senapati; Awangshi Hopingson, Rifleman, 8th MR; L Sandeep, Constable, CID(SB); Ch Romesh Singh, Rifleman 2nd IRB attached to Bishnupur commando unit; joseph A Shatsang, Jemadar, 5th MR; Gangmei Hourellu Kabuini, W/SI Imphal West; P Rakesh Singh, SI Imohal \west; Geetanjali Devi Porompat OC Imphal East.
