Imphal: A ministerial team led by Union minister of state for Health & Family Welfare Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar and Health & F/W and IPR minister, Manipur Dr. S. Ranjan Singh has visited Health and Wellness Centre, Phubala in Bishnupur district.
A discussion and interaction program was also held with the health officials and staff of the center as a part of the visit.
Speaking to the media Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar informed that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has successfully implemented many health care and welfare schemes of the public. More than 1.5 lac Health and Wellness Centres have been opened in the country. The government has set the objective to reach different health care and welfare schemes to the nook and corners of the country, she added.
The Minister maintained that with the help of the collective effort of our health workers including doctors, scientists, nurses, ASHA workers and COVID warriors, the country is successful in driving away corona disease.
The Minister also congratulated the role played by the state health workers during such a crucial time of the pandemic. She also highlighted the sincere role of the Manipur Chief minister N. Biren Singh for successful implementation of the different health schemes of the government.
She further stated that for a strong and healthy India, cooperation of all sections of people is necessary.
Ministerial team also includes Director Health Services, Manipur, Dr. K. Rajo Singh, State Mission Director, NHM, Manipur, Dr. Somorjit Ningombam, Deputy Director, Dr. Prabin, other officials and staffs of health department.
